We love this place. On the second floor with ocean view. I typically get the moco loco. It comes with 3 meats, and a shiitake mushroom gravy, one of a kind. The pancakes, were excellent, the are very spongy, fluffy and delicious.

What an incredible view! We came for lunch and got in quickly. We were seated in the most amazing spot overlooking the beach. The service was meh and the food was the same but we like to come here at least once when we visit. Each entree was huge and way too much to finish. I had the tacos and they were pretty big. Not a ton of flavor even with the sauce but since we didn't see our server we ate it as it was. It really could've used a little salt. Definitely try this place out if you're around. I've had much better dishes here and the desserts are incredible!

We came here before the Rock-a-Hula show and again we both enjoyed the food and service. Cortney took good care of us and is an excellent server! The food was again excellent. My wife had the special with mahi and swordfish with mashed sweet potato and I had the Filet Steak Kiana. I think that that was one of the best steaks I've had, especially for the price. The only downside was the pumpkin kabocha hummus. While the hummus itself is really good, the watermelon radish leaves an aftertaste in your mouth for a long time, even after the meal is done. Otherwise, this is one of our favorite $$$ restaurants!

I went to the Outrigger Waikiki for dinner. The wait to be seated at "Duke's" was exceptionally long; so, I went upstairs to eat at "Hula Grill Waikiki". I mention this because both restaurants are owned by TS Restaurants. While Duke's draws a lot of attention, you can get just as good a meal at Hula Grill. And while the two menus are not the same, there is some overlap. On this occasion, I had the Filet Steak Kiana ($54): Hula Grill's interpretation of Steak Diane, served with Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes. The filet mignon is derived from Omaha corn feed Angus beef. The filet is placed upon a sauce of shitake mushroom cream. A dollop of truffle butter is applied atop the steak. The steak was prepared well. It was seared on the outside; pink inside; and the serving temperature was hot. The mashed potatoes were good, as well: not too light, not too heavy. I dined alone at the bar. The service provided by the bartender/waiter was very good, considering all of his responsibilities--and I had a nice conversation with others dining at the bar.

We had to come back for the drinks yet again! Still love this spiked lemonade slushie. Bartenders are super friendly and the bar is just a comfortable place to sit and sip your drinks. Still love this bar 3 years later

Great breakfast spot located in Waikiki if you happen to be on vacation or if you're a local and don't mind paying for parking. The views from the restaurant are gorgeous in the morning. Feels like I'm on vacation so I like it here. They have quite a bit of servers, so the wait is not that bad. I had the shrimp omelette which comes beautifully plated! The coffee is amazing. Definitely worth the money for the gorgeous view, the vacation feel, and the tasty food/coffee.

Came here to celebrate my birthday. Had a great ocean view. Service was great and food was good. Wasn't too hungry so opted for the honey Mac shrimp. Friends ordered the Mac nut crusted mahi mahi and the opai. They both liked their dishes as well. Our server Evan was awesome as well. Ordered Mai Tais.. not the traditional version but still good. Had hula pie on the house since it was my birthday was was delicious!!

Hula Grill is in the Outrigger Hotel and has a great view of Waikiki beach. We sat on the lanai and overlooked the beach and pool. Chance was our server and he provided excellent service. He was knowledgeable about the menu, answered all our questions, and checked in on us throughout the meal being attentive but not intrusive. The seafood omelet is so good and filling. It's full of shrimp and langoustine with cheese. It's served with potatoes and a small salad. It was a great breakfast. The kids breakfast was a perfect sized portion. We couldn't leave without getting a slice of hula pie which was a massive piece of pie but was so good and was the perfect ending to our meal. Hula Grill was great for breakfast and I definitely want to come back for lunch or dinner on another trip. The location and service are perfect and make for a memorable experience.
